Executive Committee

That Councillor Gerry Glover be appointed as volunteer member of Bruce County Council to join this ad hoc committee, filling a recent vacancy.

That an Evaluation Committee be established to review and recommend the appointment of one non-elected member to the Bruce County Public Library Board; and, That the Evaluation Committee be comprised of the Warden, Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Library Services and the County Clerk.

That the Committee move into a closed meeting pursuant to:  Section 239 (2) (c) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (Saugeen Ojibway Nation Land Claim Update, Amendment to Bluesource Canada Agreement and Request to Transfer County owned Property to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula)  Section 239 (2) (e) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board (Saugeen Ojibway Nation Land Claim Update, Amendment to Bluesource Canada Agreement and Request to Transfer County owned Property to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula)  Section 239 (2) (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; (Saugeen Ojibway Nation Land Claim Update, Amendment to Bluesource Canada Agreement and Request to Transfer County owned Property to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula)  Section 239 (2) (j) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial or financial information that belongs to the municipality or local board and has monetary value or potential monetary value; (Amendment to Bluesource Canada Agreement); and, To approve the minutes of the April 1, 2021 and April 15, 2021 closed meetings.

That in accordance with the Procedure by-law, staff be authorized and directed to give effect to the actions of the Executive Committee in respect of all resolutions passed during the May 6, 2021 meeting.
